Dads who are in the Father/Daughter number and want to brush up on their skating skills are invited to join our Dad’s Learn2Skate classes.
Classes are Saturdays from 10:00–10:30 am, March 9– (no class on March 23 or April 6 for Spring Break). Cost is $72 for the four lessons. Contact Anne in the RFSC office to register.
Rehearsal
This year’s number is L-O-V-E.
Our Father/Daughter Number will have one mandatory rehearsal. This rehearsal is where the choreography for the show will be learned. It is required for both fathers and daughters.
Note The three father/daughter groups will rehearse separately.
Mandatory Rehearsal: Wednesday, April 10, 2024
Friday Performance: 7:00–7:30 pm
Saturday Performance: 7:30–8:00 pm
Sunday Performance: 8:00–8:30 pm
In addition to the mandatory show session rehearsal there are rehearsals during show week. There will be a rehearsal on Tuesday of show week and there will be dress rehearsals on both Wednesday and Thursday. All three Father/Daughter groups will practice at each show week rehearsal. Both fathers and daughters are required to attend these rehearsals. The schedule for show week will be published soon.
There is a $5 Father/Daughter participation fee to cover the rehearsal session. The fee will be applied to your skater’s April bill which you receive in May. There is no additional charge for show week rehearsals.
Costume
There will be no additional costumes to purchase for the Father/Daughter number. Dads and girls will provide their own costumes as follows:
- Fathers: Please wear black slacks and white long-sleeve button-down shirts.
- Daughters: Please wear a favorite competition dress.
