The 2026 RFSC Ice Show will be held April 17, 18 and 19, 2026 at the Rochester Recreation Center. The show is a large-scale production involving spotlights, props, and special effects. It is a wonderful learning experience for skaters of all ability levels and we encourage everyone to participate.
As with every show, there is a lot of information to pass on this year so please be sure to read through all of the articles herein before you begin registration.
Checklist for Participants in the 2026 RFSC Ice Show:
Skate in group lessons during RFSC Fall and Winter or Winter and Spring Learn2Skate Sessions. Skaters in the Aspire2Grow group must skate in the Fall and Winter sessions and the Winter session must be the Aspire2Grow class.
Register for the show session by December 10, 2025:
To avoid a late fee read the information on this page and complete your registration by Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Registration has two parts:
- The L2S Information and Costume Measurements Form in the bottom section of this page. Both must be complete and accurate for your registration to be accepted.
- Enroll for your show number in the RFSC Customer Portal which is linked below the form.
Your skater’s registration will be canceled if this information is not entered by Saturday, December 20, 2025.
Registration Important Dates
- Early Bird Registration: $10 off, October 3 through October 15, 2025.
- General Registration: October 16 through December 10, 2025.
- Late Registration: a $25 late fee will be assessed for entries submitted after Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
- Registration Closed: registration for skaters in the fall session will not be accepted after Saturday, December 20, 2025
- Winter Session Registration: skaters who start skating in the winter rather than fall session, registration will open for two weeks in January. These skaters must also skate in the spring session to skate in the show.
Pay the show fee
- Future Stars: $150
- Learn2Skate (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Boys): $150
- Aspire2Grow: $165
The show fee is payable at the time of registration by the credit card you have on file in our Customer Portal (link in the last tab of this page). This fee covers Ice Show rehearsals, performances and your costume (including tights and/or boot covers as needed—but not skate guards). If you are unable to pay online, checks must be received in the RFSC office immediately or no later than December 20, 2025. Make your payment to RFSC. Address the envelope to: "Ice Show Registration" and include your skater’s name and group.
Attend rehearsals during the show session
To ensure the quality of the ice show numbers, skaters may not miss more than one rehearsal during show session and must be present for ALL show-week rehearsals for which your group is scheduled (April 13–16, 2026).
Skate in all three performances
Participants are expected to skate in all three ice show performances (April 17, 18 and 19, 2026). Exceptions are allowed for Future Stars skaters.
Please Note: While we take skater safety very seriously, skaters must be willing to skate without a helmet in the ice show due to costume restrictions.
Refund Policy
Refunds for Learn2Skate Ice Show registration will be allowed as follows:
- Full refund through Wednesday, December 31, 2025
- 50% refund through Friday, February 27, 2026
- No refunds after Sunday, March 1, 2026
Important Ice Show Registration Notes
By completing the online registration you will be agreeing to participate in the Ice Show and to the following:
- Except for Future Stars skaters, participants are required to skate in all three performances.
- Skaters are responsible for their own measurements (entered in the Information Form ) and understand that they are responsible for any size alterations that are needed.
- Costumes cannot be returned or exchanged for different sizes. PLEASE MEASURE CAREFULLY!
- Costumes may not be altered before Picture Day without approval from the costume committee.
- Costumes must be worn as directed by the costume committee and show director—NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Skaters may not wear their costumes prior to show performances, except at the request or approval of the costume committee and/or show director. Costumes must be covered if worn by skaters in the audience during show performances or any show rehearsals.
- The Rochester Figure Skating Club does not control photos that are taken by outside media sources. By registering for the show, you acknowledge that photos may be taken by members of the media during practices and show week performances.
- Photos taken on show picture day in March will be publicized in our show program and may be displayed in the RFSC communication showcases at the rink or published in local media outlets.
- Skaters and parents must respect all fellow skaters, volunteers and directors of the ice show. Many hours are spent preparing for an outstanding show that is fun for skaters as well as pleasing to the audience. Please be considerate of others to make it a positive experience for all involved.
