Rhythm & BladesParticpation InformationIn addition to regularly scheduled practices and competitions, Rhythm and Blades skaters are expected to partipate in additional team building activities.All the teams will participate in our local camp August 13-15 with guest coach Jeannine Cullen Weinschrad, an International coach who is currently head coach of Team Phoenix. Jeannine’s daughter Erin Cullen will also be part of our camp. Erin skated on the Haydenettes the past two seasons and skated at the 2010 World Championships in Colorado Springs where they earned the Bronze medal. Congratulations Hayden and Erin! Each skater is required to skate on RFSC ice in addition to synchro sessions. For the Beginner team we require 30 minutes a week. For the Open Juvenile and Juvenile teams 1 hour, and for the Intermediate team 1.5 hours. These sessions can be freestyle, dance, MIF, power or competitive edge.
All teams will perform in several Ice Hawks and high school hockey games during the school year.
