Olympic Learn to Skate
Starts the first week of March

Offered by the Rochester Figure Skating Club

The Rochester Figure Skating Club will begin it's Olympic Learn-to-Skate Session during the first week of March. We will offer classes for kids of all ages and levels: from SnowPlow Sam 1 (Preschoool) through the US Figure Skating Basic 8. Adults are welcome as well! Skating lessons are suitable for individuals interested in learning to figure skate or play hockey!

Registration for this session is now open. Download the Registration Form or pick one up in the RFSC office at the Rochester Recreation Center (21 Elton Hills Dr. NW). Forms may be returned to the office in person or by mail. The deadline is March 3, 2010.

Please make a note of the following:

  • These classes are separate from Ice Show Rehearsals. Skaters wishing to continue group instruction should choose a day different from that of their show rehearsal.
  • Skaters wishing to continue private lessons during this session must contact their skating professional directly.
  • Saturday Preschool/Kindergarten classes will begin at 10:45am; the show rehearsals for Preschool/Kindergarten skaters will begin at 10:15am.
  • All Saturday classes will begin on 3/6 in order to avoid scheduling classes during Spring Break.
  • Saturday Junior Club freestyle has been included on this form.
  • There will be a "Learn-to-Dance" program for skaters having passed badge 4 (Green) and above on Thursday evenings.

Come join us in beginning your Olympic Dream!
