Welcome to the home page of the Rochester Figure Skating Club, an affiliate of US Figure Skating. We offer a variety of classes and programs for those just learning to skate - children and Adults - as well as the competitive skater. Our professionals and coaches are skilled at teaching singles, dance, and synchronized skating.

Changes to Summer Exhibition Ice
Due to low registration we have found it necessary to cancel all RFSC Exhibition Ice sessions except August 19 from 4:15 to 5:15.
This session will be a great opportunity to see our skaters’ competitive programs. Junior Club members, contract skaters, parents and coaches are all encouraged to join our audience to cheer on the exhibition skaters.

August Test Registration Due Date
Registration for the August 24th and 26th test sessions will be due about a week earlier than normal. If you plan on testing in August please submit your registration form and payment to the office by Tuesday July 27. We appreciate your cooperation in this schedule change.

Changes to Summer Session 2 Group Lessons
Two of our Group Classes have time changes for Summer Session 2. Summer Hockey will meet Friday afternoons from 1:15 to 2:00 beginning July 23 (registration is due July 16). Introduction to Ice Dance classes will be held Thursday afternoons from 2:30 to 3:00 beginning July 29.

Pro Ice
The Rochester Recreation Center will offer “Pro Ice” this summer (2010). Sessions will cost $1.50 per fifteen minutes (45 minutes minimum) and must be paid in advance. Sessions will be on Satrudays from 10:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. on the following dates (Please note there is no skating on June 19th due to the Star of the North Competition):

Junior Club, JPSE and Summer Hockey schedules and registration forms are now available. Summer Session 1 is June 14 through July 23, 2010 with registration due June 5. 2010 Summer Contract Now Available
The 2010 Summer Contract is now available. Please download a copy and read through it even if you have already turned in your schedule request. The 2010 Summer Schedule is also available. The summer contract will run from Monday, June 14 through Friday, August 27, 2010. Registration deadline is Monday, May 17. Please review all pages in the registration packet and return the schedule and registration form to the office by the due date. Remember that these forms need to be signed by the skater, a parent or guardian (if under 18) and your professional coach.

Myskatingmall.com Open for Business
As a skater, skating coach, or parent, you may have heard the buzz about "myskatingmall.com." Myskatingmall is a website that will raise money for skating clubs and charities through the sale of new or gently used skating items. The brainchild of former world competitior Ryan Jahnke, Myskatingmall will benefit everyone in the skating world. Those of you who want to sell your skating dresses, accessories, skates, etc. have the perfect outlet to do it. For the first year, every listing is free, and a small percentage of sales will go to the skating club of your choice. Several businesses have joined Myskatingmall as partner stores, and that includes us at Sk8Strong Inc.
Help make Myskatingmall a success and support the clubs that build the foundation for our skaters!
