2011 Winter Interim Ice

Online registration is now available for skaters who do not have a current RFSC contract. This includes our Basic Skills/L2S skaters as well as former RFSC skaters and skaters from other clubs who do not skate under an RFSC contract.

Online registration is available for skaters with a current RFSC contract. Non-contract skaters (including non-members, former members and basic skills skaters) will use a different form which will be available soon.

To get started, see the Registration Start Page for instructions. Please note: you will need to log in to our website using the username and password you created for the School Year Registration. If you have forgotten your password, there is a link on the login form that will allow you to reset it. Afterwards, follow the instructions for a link to return to the form. If you have forgotten your username, or don't have one, please contact the office.

The 2011 Winter Interim Ice Schedule is now available to download. It is currently for planning purposes only. Registration will be online. We will post notices when it is available so check back often.

The Winter Interim schedule is from Monday, December 26 through Friday, December 30 and is covered under the terms and conditions of the RFSC 2011-2012 Ice Contract. The deadline for registration will be Monday, December 19. Skaters who have not contracted for a session will be charged a $5 walk-on fee. See the schedule for costs and other information.

RFSC 2011-2012 Ice Contract &
2011-2012 School Year Schedule Registration

The RFSC 2011-2012 School Year Ice Schedule is available for download. The School Year Schedule will be effective from Tuesday September 6, 2011 through Saturday June 2, 2012. Registration is due Friday August 26, 2011. A $25.00 late fee will be applied after this date.

Please note: This schedule is posted for planning purposes only. Registration for school year sessions will be online and available on or around August 15. Be sure to discuss the schedule with your professional coach before starting the online registration.

A change from previous contracts: The terms and conditions of the 2011-2012 are binding and effective for the entire membership year of the Rochester Figure Skating Club. The contract covers registration for both the 2011-2012 School Year Schedule (Tuesday, September 6, 2011 through Saturday, June 2, 2012) and the 2012 Summer Schedule (dates to be determined). It will also cover any additional ice such as Interim Ice or Pro’s Ice.

Several additional documents are included as part of the 2011-2012 Ice Contract. Some must be printed, signed and returned to the office by the contract due date. Others will be acknowledged online as part of the registration process. These documents are available below if you want to review them now:

The forms to be printed, signed and returned to the office are furnished as a single packet, the 2011-2012 Contract Print & Sign Documents, which indcludes:

  • 2011-2012 Waiver & Release of Liability
  • 2011-2012 Parental Consent & Indemnification
  • 2011-2012 Consent for Medical Attention
The forms which will be acknowledged during the registration process include:

Your Membership Number will be required for The 2011-2012 Ice Contract and the School Year Ice Schedule.. You can find your number on your membership card. It is also printed above your name on the mailing label of Skating Magazine. As a last resort, check with Anne in the office. The number will be used on the registration form. You will also be asked to create a user login on our server for each skater. The username will be your Membership Number.

Rochester Figure Skating Club
[1883] Skater Sign-in Policy

Skaters must sign their name next to their name on the sign-in sheet BEFORE stepping on the ice. Skaters may sign-in early and for each time they skate that day. A skater must sign-in for all sessions that they skate even if the sessions are back to back. If their name is not on the list for that session, they are to add their name to the list. Skaters are to sign-in only for themselves, not for anyone else. If a skater skates any portion of a session, they are to sign-in and will be billed for the entire session.

Any time that a skater is found to be skating a session for which they have not signed in, they will be charged a $10 penalty fee. The skater will be billed for that session as well as the $10 penalty fee. The skater’s parent(s) and coach will be notified of the infraction.

Upon the infraction 3rd infraction, Ice and Rules will review the situation and determine the next course of action which may include greater consequences.
